Congressman Mike Bost

Mike Bost grew up working for Bost Trucking, a small business owned by his father and uncle.

For over 2 decades, Mike and Tracy have been successful small business owners.  They know the value of balancing a budget, meeting a payroll, and making sure they don’t overspend. Mike lives by those “lessons learned” as a U.S. Representative for Southern Illinois. He’s always fighting for the federal government to live within its means and to prioritize your tax dollars. He knows what it means to live within a budget- just as your family does and just as Mike and Tracy Bost do managing their business and household.

A Marine and Firefighter Fighting For Southern Illinois Values

Mike has an extensive and dedicated tradition of public service. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps right after high school. He served as an electronic specialist and radar repairman – receiving an honorable discharge as a Corporal E-4 in 1982.

Mike served as a firefighter for the Murphysboro Fire Department, both part-time and full-time. He steadfastly answered the call of duty to protect families by answering hundreds of emergency calls and fighting a number of fires.

Mike has been an outspoken critic of government’s wasteful spending and the growing role of government in our everyday lives. He’s been a strong advocate for Southern Illinois’ coal industry, educational institutions, agriculture, public sector workers and protecting gun rights. Yes, sometimes even passionately on the House floor.

Mike believes it is vitally important to bring Southern Illinois values to Washington, not the other way around.

Lt. Colonel Robert Mosier

Lieutenant Colonel Robert “Bob” Mosier serves as Chief Deputy, Administrative and Corrections Bureau, for the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.   

He most recently served as the Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security for Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, where he also served on the Virginia Substance Abuse Services Council and Criminal Justice Services Board. 

He was elected twice as Sheriff of Fauquier County, Virginia, and previously served as Commander of Special Operations, the Patrol Division, and the Criminal Investigations Division there. 

He also worked for the U.S. Dept. of State and U.S. Dept. of Defense in support of international policing, and as Vice President of Investigations for the International Justice Mission.

Joel Anand Samy

Joel Anand Samy is an entrepreneur, think tank and broadcast media leader. Joel Anand is the Co-Founder of International Leaders Summit and America's Roundtable Broadcast Media. 

He served as a former Senior Executive at HarperCollins Publishers-Zondervan, News Corporation; Co-Founder of the JDN Group, founding executive at tech start-up; Vice President of Marketing, Jonathan and David, and Treasurer and Trustee of the Jonathan and David Foundation.

He was also involved in launching humanitarian and economic development initiatives in conflict and post-conflict zones including the Balkans, SE Asia and Eastern Africa, primarily in Rwanda.

Scott Weldon

Scott Weldon brings over 15 years of experience in campaigns, public policy, and strategic communications. A veteran political advisor, he has guided candidates through some of the most competitive races in the country—including helping unseat a senior incumbent Congressman despite being outspent more than 10-to-1.

Known for his sharp messaging instincts and ability to navigate both data and emotion in volatile political environments, Scott is a trusted strategist and valued member of the Link Public Affairs team. His background includes service as a legislative aide in Virginia and key communications and political roles for multiple members of Congress on Capitol Hill.

He most recently served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Congressman Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ), where he played a central role in the congressman’s high-profile party switch from Democrat to Republican, while managing both policy and communications strategy in the office.

Scott has worked with dozens of candidates, organizations, and associations across the country—helping them win elections and achieve their political goals.

Debra LaPrevotte, International Corruption Investigator

Retired SSA Debra LaPrevotte worked for the FBI for 20 years investigating the most corrupt world leaders.  She was instrumental in initiating the FBI’s Kleptocracy program and during her tenure, Debra seized over one billion USD. 

Debra not only seized assets and money, but she also was part of the FBI's Evidence Response Team and work at the FBI Laboratory in Quantico. 

She responded to bank robberies and major crime scenes and disaster scenes. Today, Debra continues to fight against human injustices, repression, corruption, atrocities and violence in the worst parts of the world!
