"Every American has the right to feel safe and secure. As Americans, we need to ensure safety and security for our Jewish sisters and brothers, and protect Jewish communities from the senseless anti-Semitism in America which is being fomented by pro-Hamas groups and sympathizers of the current terror regime in Tehran." — Natasha Srdoc
The Five Pillars of Prosperity
If it were not for the sacrifice of these brave American men and women during WWII, my family and millions of families across Europe and Asia would not have survived. My grandparents lived in 6 different countries, without leaving their home in Rijeka, Croatia. My maternal grandfather was killed while defending the local community including Jews and a historic synagogue from Nazi soldiers in WWII. My mother was just 3 years old. Nazi German soldiers burnt our family home to the ground, leaving only the cornerstone. On the day that American soldiers landed on the Italian peninsula - my father, who was just 11 years old, and my grandmother were liberated from a concentration camp in Northern Italy. Let us not forget that 29,560 brave American soldiers were killed in Italy during World War II.
